A little about why Clean Slate Expression exists, what you'll find here, and my hope for you as we grow together in Christ—one story, one season, and one creative expression at a time.

Hi, friend.

I'm so glad you're here.

If we were sitting together today, I'd probably pour us each a cup of coffee, find a comfortable place to sit, and start by telling you a little about why this place exists.

Clean Slate Expression has grown and changed over the years.

In many ways, I have too.

I've walked through seasons of joy and creativity, but I've also walked through seasons of trauma, loss, anxiety, depression, loneliness, and rejection. There were times when I wondered if I would ever feel creative—or even like myself—again.

But through it all, God has been faithful.

Slowly and gently, He reminded me that my identity wasn't found in what had happened to me.

My identity was found in Christ.

In quiet moments of prayer, time spent in Scripture, and through the simple act of creating again, God began restoring something in me.

And somewhere along the way, Clean Slate Expression began to grow from those sacred spaces.

A Ministry Expressed Through Creativity

Today, Clean Slate Expression is a place where faith and creativity come together.

It's a place for stories.

For encouragement.

For honest conversations about walking with Christ through the beautiful seasons—and the really hard ones.

It's a place for art, photography, creativity, and thoughtfully created pieces that remind us of God's truth.

And it's a place to gather.

My hope isn't to have all the answers.

I certainly don't.

I'm simply a woman who loves Jesus and has chosen, through the prompting of the Holy Spirit, to share what God has taught me along the way.

To share my story.

To share His love.

To share the creativity He has given me.

And perhaps, somewhere in my story, you'll recognize a little of your own.

Welcome to The Creative House

I like to think of Clean Slate Expression as The Creative House.

It's not a physical house—at least not right now.

It's an invitation.

A place where you can come as you are and find encouragement for the season you're walking through.

Inside The Creative House, you'll discover different Rooms.

Each one represents a different part of our journey with Christ.

A place to discover who you are in Christ, become more comfortable with the woman God created you to be, find peace in your current season, and continue growing in His grace.

⚓ Anchored in Faith

A place for the seasons when the waters aren't calm—when we're learning to trust God, hold onto His faithfulness, and find peace even in the middle of life's storms.

🌱 Rooted in Hope

A place to grow deeper in God's Word and discover the hope found in His promises. Here, Scripture, prayer, creativity, and encouragement come together to help us remain rooted in truth.

🎨 Created With Purpose

A place to explore the gifts God has placed in your hands and consider how we can faithfully use our creativity, calling, work, and everyday lives for His purposes.

💛 Everyday Grace

A place to carry what we're learning with us.

Into our homes.

Our relationships.

Our work.

Our ordinary Tuesdays.

Because following Christ isn't something that happens only in the big moments.

His grace meets us right in the middle of everyday life.

What You'll Find Here

This journal is where I'll share more of the stories behind The Creative House.

Some days, we may talk about faith.

Other days, creativity.

I'll share personal stories from my own life and the things God is teaching me along the way.

We'll talk about Scripture and prayer.

We'll explore creativity and purpose.

I'll take you behind the scenes of things I'm creating.

We'll talk about the difficult seasons, too—not because I have all the answers, but because I've learned that sometimes simply knowing someone else has walked a hard road can help us feel a little less alone.

And occasionally, we may just stop to notice something beautiful.

A flower.

The ocean.

A photograph.

A quiet moment.

Because I believe beauty has a way of reminding us to look up.

You Don't Have to Start at the Beginning

Here's something I want you to know about The Creative House.

You don't have to walk through the Rooms in order.

Maybe today you need to remember who you are in Christ.

Come visit Grace in Bloom.

Maybe you're in the middle of a storm and struggling to trust.

Spend some time in Anchored in Faith.

Maybe you need to return to God's Word and hold tightly to His promises.

You'll find a place in Rooted in Hope.

Maybe something is stirring in your heart and you're wondering what God is asking you to do with the gifts He's given you.

Come create with me in Created With Purpose.

Or maybe you simply need a small reminder of God's grace to carry into an ordinary day.

That's what Everyday Grace is all about.

Each Room can be explored on its own.

But together, they tell a larger story of growing in Christ.

So, Come On In

I don't know what season brought you here today.

Maybe you're flourishing.

Maybe you're waiting.

Maybe you're rebuilding.

Maybe you're dreaming about what's next.

Or maybe you're simply trying to faithfully put one foot in front of the other.

Wherever you are, there's a place for you here.

My prayer is that something you read, see, create, or experience within The Creative House encourages you to draw a little closer to Jesus.

That you leave reminded of His faithfulness.

That you notice His grace in places you may have overlooked.

And that you remember that He is still working—in your story, in your season, and in you.
