Inside Anchored of Faith

My love for the ocean and the peace and connection with God that it brings me every time is the inspiration behind Anchored in Faith.
There is just something special about being near the water. The sound of the waves rolling in and out. The steady rhythm of the tide. The salty ocean air. The vastness of the horizon stretching farther than the eye can see.
Even the smell of the ocean makes me smile.
Recently, I visited the coast and found myself standing there, as I often do, completely amazed by the enormity of it all.
The endless expanse of water.
The beautiful colors painted across the sky at sunset.
The constant, never-ending movement of the waves meeting the shore.
And as I stood there taking it all in, I was reminded of the love of God.
Constant. Steady. Never-ending. Peaceful, yet awe-inspiring. Gentle, yet powerful.
We truly serve a BIG God.
The ocean has always been one of the places where I feel closest to Him. It's where I often find myself wanting to be when life feels overwhelming, when circumstances seem too heavy, or when the stresses of everyday life make it difficult to catch my breath.
Maybe you've experienced seasons like that too.
Seasons where the waves of life feel bigger than your strength.
Seasons of uncertainty, loss, disappointment, fear, or simply feeling weary.
If so, this room is for you.
Anchored in Faith is a place to be reminded that no matter what storm you may be facing, you do not face it alone. Here, you'll find creative pieces designed to anchor your heart in God's promises and remind you of His faithfulness.
You'll also find opportunities to gather with other women through faith, fellowship, encouragement, and shared stories. My prayer is that this room becomes a place where you are reminded that God meets you right where you are.
That He guides you when you need direction.
Strengthens you when you feel weak.
Comforts you when your heart is hurting.
And remains faithful through every season.
So let's remain anchored in faith, dear one.
Holding tightly to the hope we have in Jesus Christ.
Trusting Him through calm waters and stormy seas alike.
And remembering that our anchor is firm, secure, and unshakable.
