Hi, I'm Cheryl
My Story
I am a believer in Christ, a seasoned designer with over 20 years of experience, and a photographer.
But more importantly — I am a woman who has walked through
difficult seasons.
For many years, my life included trauma, loss, anxiety, deep depression, loneliness, and rejection. There were long stretches when healing felt slow and uncertain, and I wondered if I would ever feel creative and whole again.
Through those seasons, God gently reminded me that my identity is not defined by my past, but by who I am in Christ. Even in the darkest moments, He remained faithful — guiding me toward healing, renewed creativity, and hope.
Over time, I began finding peace in quiet moments with God — through prayer, Scripture, and creative expression.
Clean Slate Expression grew from those sacred spaces.
It became a way to use the gifts God has given me — design, art, photography — as vessels of truth and encouragement for women walking through their own seasons of faith and healing.
I am not a counselor.
I am a woman who has chosen, through the prompting of the Holy Spirit, to share — to share my story, to share God’s love, and to create tangible reminders of truth for real homes and real seasons.
What I create is not commercial décor.
It is layered prayer.
It is Scripture expressed visually.
It is encouragement meant to be carried.
