Clean Slate Expression exists to offer Christ-centered encouragement through creativity, photography, peaceful experiences, and thoughtful design that support believers in their faith journeys.
Through scripture-guided journals, encouraging art, peaceful photography sessions, and creative design services, this space is designed to help people slow down, reflect, and reconnect with God during every season of life.
Hi, I'm Cheryl
My Story
For many years, my life included seasons of trauma, loss, anxiety, deep depression, and discouragement. There were long stretches when healing felt slow and uncertain, and I often wondered if I would ever feel creative and whole again.
Through those difficult seasons, God gently reminded me that my identity is not defined by my past, but by who I am in Christ. Even in the darkest moments, He remained faithful, guiding me toward healing, renewed creativity, and hope.
Over time, I began discovering peace in quiet moments with God—through prayer, scripture, creativity, and time spent reflecting on His love, faithfulness and goodness.
Clean Slate Expression grew out of those moments.
It became a way for me to use the gifts God has given me—photography, design, and creative expression—to encourage and support others who may be walking through their own seasons of faith and healing.
My hope is that everything created here brings a sense of peace, encouragement, and hope knowing that Christ is with you in every season.

My Inspiration
Nature- Quiet moments outdoors—near water, gardens, and soft morning light—often inspire the peaceful tone behind my work.
Creativity - Designing digital art, journaling, and creating with color allows me to express encouragement in ways words alone cannot. Exploring antique and craft store gives me inspiration for new things to create.
Faith - Scripture, prayer, and time with God remain the foundation behind every piece created through Clean Slate Expression.
