Come Wander With Me
I have always loved wandering through antique stores. There is just something about walking through the door and not knowing what you might discover.
I am usually not looking for anything in particular.
And honestly? That may be my favorite part. :)
I love turning a corner and suddenly finding something that makes me stop.
A beautiful color combination.
An unusual piece of jewelry.
An old quilt with incredible stitching.
A creative display.
Something quirky that simply makes me smile.
Sometimes I wonder about where a piece has been or who may have owned it. Other times, I don't know anything about it at all—I simply appreciate the creativity, craftsmanship, or beauty I see in front of me.
And most of these treasures don't come home with me.
But the inspiration does. That's what Today's Wander is about.
This is where I'll take you along as I wander through antique stores, markets, art shows, creative spaces, and wherever else I happen to discover a little wonder.
I'll share the things that catch my eye.
The colors that inspire me.
The creative ideas that start forming in my head.
And probably a few things that simply make me say, "Oh, I love that!"
My hope is that you'll enjoy wandering with me and perhaps begin noticing a little more wonder in the places you explore, too.
Because sometimes we don't need to bring the beautiful thing home.
Sometimes noticing it is enough.
So, come wander with me, my friend.
Let's see what we discover today.
Cheryl's Wonder Question:
What is something you've discovered recently that made you stop and smile?
