Celebrating the Creativity That Inspires Me
One of my favorite things about being creative is discovering what other people create.
I am constantly amazed by the gifts God has placed in people.
Someone can take a lump of clay and create a beautiful mug.
A piece of fabric becomes art.
A handful of flowers becomes something that makes another person smile.
An idea that started in someone's imagination becomes something the rest of us get to enjoy.
I love that.
And I love supporting small businesses and fellow creatives when I can.
Makers I Love
is where I'll introduce you to some of the artists, makers, and small businesses whose work has caught my eye and inspired me along the way.
Sometimes I may own one of their creations.
Sometimes I may simply discover their work while I'm out wandering.
But this space isn't about me selling their creations.
It's about celebrating creativity.
I'll share what I discovered, what inspired me, and where you can learn more about the person behind the work.
Because I believe there is room to celebrate one another.
To encourage one another.
And to recognize the beautiful and wonderfully different ways God has given each of us to create.
Perhaps you'll discover a new favorite maker.
Perhaps their work will inspire something in you.
Or perhaps you'll simply pause for a moment and appreciate what someone else has lovingly made.
Either way, I hope this becomes a place where we can celebrate creativity together.
Because one person's creativity has a beautiful way of inspiring creativity in someone else.
And that is certainly worth sharing.
Cheryl's Wonder Question:Is there an artist, maker, or small business whose creativity inspires you?
